Raising Confidence Skills Corporation has several phases to it's operation. In it's initial phase, it functions as a Family and/or Group College Counseling Session. In a singular conference with the student-athlete and family, a prepared, systematic method of evaluating available information is presented in a concise format, for families to use in their selection process. This conference has three components: covering the academic, financial aid, and athletic aspects of recruiting. The focus is on knowledge of relevant material and self-marketing skills. RAISING CONFIDENCE SKILLS INC. is not a college selection service. It does not guarantee admission to a university nor does it imply that the student-athlete will receive a college baseball scholarship. It's purpose is to facilitate the college selection process for the family, through specific evaluations. OTHER AREAS OF FOCUS OFFERED ARE: SUBSTANCE ABUSE PREVENTION/INTERVENTION WORKSHOP FOR COACHING STAFFS SUBSTANCE ABUSE PREVENTION/INTERVENTION PRESENTATION FOR PARENTS, FACULTIES AND CLUBS SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELING For further information in these areas, please refer to the ATHLETIC COUNSELING page of this web site. In addition to the counseling area for athletes, BASEBALL INSTRUCTION, is available on an individual or group basis. Flexibility in scheduling on the parts of both student and instructor is taken into account when lessons are scheduled. Instruction is available in both lecture and activity formats.
