In addition to the family counseling presentation, the Group Presentation has become an increasingly popular option in the RCS program. It differs from the family counseling meeting in that it is presented to groups as small as four families or as large as the school or organization may deem suitable. The Group Presentation contains all of the components of the singular family meeting, yet it allows a group as large as a baseball program's junior and senior athletes and their parents to benefit from a single informational presentation.

Regarding substance abuse, the following very useful presentations are available for use by schools and interested groups.

The Prevention/Intervention workshop for coaches is a positive lecture/interactive experience, leading off with approximately one hour of material on coach's roles, interplay with other school personnel, a look at signs and symptoms of abuse from the coach's perspective, and intervention techniques.

The session then changes to an interactive format where coaches get a chance to discuss attitudes , interventions, and team policies with fellow coaches (and administrators, if present) (length of time, 2-3 hours, as desired)

This can be a single of multi-school experience.

The Prevention/Intervention Presentation is designed for Parent Groups, Faculties, Booster Clubs, and can be modified to meet the needs of the respective school district or group. Prevention and Intervention techniques will be stressed, with an emphasis on participation, if desired. The lecture method and group work can be combined or used separately, as per session goals.
